Additional description from above auction:
Just traded in on a Big six cylinder Brass Speedster, this 1968 Jaguar 2+2, is a wonderfully restored car, that is ready to be driven as well as be shown. The restoration on the car is approximate 10 years old and has help up very well. It still remains in very nice condition, exhibiting minor wear from carefully use. In 2004 this car was driven from Rochester NY to Stowe Vermont for the British Invasion show, and the car made the trip flawlessly. It also placed first in its class. The car runs and drives very well. It is a desirable 4 Speed Synchromesh gearbox with the 4.2 Liter Jaguar Six cylinder motor. It is fitted with a factory radio, that is not in working condition at this time. The car is finished in Dark Blue with Light Gray leather which was an original color scheme. A great opportunity to acquire a well sorted out series II Jaguar.
Auction ended at $26,850 after 32 bids.
