1968 XKE 2+2, Clean California car. Low Reserve! This car extremely clean in and out, kept under cover in my garage. Spoke rims and Cane Steering wheel. I've owned this car for 7 years and have all my receipts and also the receipts from previous owner. Car has only required regular maintenance since I have owned it. Excellent mechanical condition, ready to enjoy. It has been my love, but my wife's new car needs a home in our garage.

Car returns to ebay 11/7/09

Current bid $8,100 reserve not met, 6 bids 9 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Columbia, South Carolina.
Sellers description:
Absolutely beautiful 1968 Jaguar 2+2 I bought from a Hollywood special effects coordinator in December 2007. He was on location working on the movie "Bandits". The movie's transportation coordinator was buying muscle cars for use in the movie and for Bruce Willis personally. The previous owner asked the transportation coordinator to find him a Jaguar E Type 2+2 and this is the one he found. The previous owner drove to Washington State from the movie set in Oregon and, with the help of the transportation coordinator's mechanic, purchased the Jaguar, and drove it back to the movie set in Oregon. When they were finished shooting he flatbedded the Jaguar to his home near Los Angeles where he kept it garaged and covered for 5 years, driving it periodically until he sold it to me in December 2007. I have kept the car garaged and covered for almost 2 years now, also driving it only on pretty days. As you can see from the pictures the interior has been completely re-done with new seats, headliner, dash, carpet, and everything else. The car also has a new paint job. I don't know when this work was done but I beleive it was done by the person who owned the car before the special effects coordinator got it from. The car looks fantastic and drives great. It cranks first time even in winter.
I am 51 year old and I bought this car because I have always loved the way they looked. I am not a Jaguar expert so if you ask me technical questions I probably won't be able to answer them. If you are interested in buying the car I would recommend that you get a vehicle inspection.
The only reason I am selling it is because we have 3 kids and my wife complains (probably weekly) that the car takes up too much room in the garage.
