eBay £3237 with 9 days left This E type was reimported from the USA in 1990. It is remarkably sound and rust free throughout. There does not appear to have been any welding or panel work carried out on the car. It has been converted to RHD and the awfull auto box has been replaced by a 4 speed manual all synchro box with compact electric overdrive which came from an XJ6. This gearbox is the exact same length as the auto box and was fitted with very little modification.

This sixties icon is in excellent condition throughout and drives beautifully. It is not the usual repaired rot box that seems to be the norm for UK cars.

The interior has been refurbished and is in good condition. The exterior is finished in Metallic British Racing Green. Stainless exhaust. New clutch etc. when gearbox was fitted.

I have owned the car for over 5 years and have a genuine reason for selling it.

The car can be inspected on a garage lift.

Some minor cosmetic work may be needed - Glovebox is missing, rear door stay is missing, all four quarter bumpers could do with rechroming, wire wheeels are in fair condition. All other chrome is good. Mechanically there are no known faults and oil pressure is good.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
