Current bid $15,100 reserve not met 10 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Palos Park, Illinois. 39k miles.

    Sellers description:
I am selling my 1968 Jaguar 2+2 Series 1.5 which I have owned since 1982. Engine + transmission were rebuilt 22 years ago, since then I have only put on about 800 miles. Engine cylinder compression is between 125-140. Car was repainted the original color 20 years ago. About 5 years ago I replaced the shocks, brakes, carbs were rebuilt my Joe Curto & misc other items. In the last 3 years I have installed a stainless steel exhaust, new Dayton wire wheels & new tires. The paint has a couple of scratches, all of the chrome is there , the trans has a small leak on the seal. The car starts right up , drives well & runs cool . I have a aftermarket radio in it but the original radio will go w/ the sale. Interior & carpet are in good condition.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
