Listed for sale for $39,900 at www.sandiegoclassicandmusclecars.com. "The car you see here is an unrestored 31,000 mile original survivor car. Solid West Coast Jaguar E-Type(has California J67 tag) 4.2 litre 4 speed manual transmission, still wearing approx. 85% of it's original paint. Interior is original and excellent. Fully serviced and ready to enjoy. This car has lived a well cared for life and was pampered. Solid dry underside. Floors, rockers and body are fine. Transmission shifts smooth with no abnormal noises, everything works as it should. A car like this is very hard to find. Original untouched vintage Jaguars are getting very hard to find. This car is a gem priced to sell." Color listed as Mint Green with an oyster interior, more likely Willow Green

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
