This 1966 Jaguar XKE Series I 2+2 coupe was initially distributed by Jaguar of Eastern Canada in Montreal and is said to have remained with one owner for more than five decades before it was acquired by the seller in 2017. Power is provided by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked to a replacement three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Finished from the factory in Opalescent Silver Blue over Dark Blue leather, the car is equipped with enclosed headlights, fog lights, 15″ wire-spoke steel wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, and a heater. This XKE Series I 2+2 coupe is now offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, service records, shop manuals, spare parts, and Alberta registration.

Compared to the contemporary coupe, the 2+2 version of the XKE featured a lengthened wheelbase and increased roof height to accommodate a pair of rear seats. This example left the factory finished in Opalescent Silver Blue and was refinished around 2018. The floors were repaired and areas were covered with fiberglass at some point under prior ownership. Equipment includes enclosed headlights, fog lights, an air horn, a louvered clamshell hood, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a side-hinged rear hatch, and fender-mounted mirrors. There is a dent on the lower portion of the front valance, the hood is misaligned, and the windshield washers do not work.

The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with 205/70 Diamond Back Classic Red Line tires, which the seller states were installed in 2018. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.

The 2+2 cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Dark Blue leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include black vinyl dash trim, a sliding rearview mirror, and a heater. The AM radio does not work.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and 6k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage are located in the center of the dashboard. The fuel gauge does not work. The five-digit odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was rebuilt circa 2015 and is equipped with triple SU carburetors. The fuel sender unit was replaced in 2023, according to the seller. Oil leaks are noted.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a replacement three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The removed transmission is included in the sale.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate shows the original colors and drivetrain numbers as well as the build and dispatch dates. Service manuals and records are also included in the sale.

The vehicle is being sold on its Alberta registration, which serves as the ownership document in Alberta, Canada. The sale does not include a title.
