I noticed that your car was built 2 days after my 2+2. Can you tell me what color is your head? It appears to be silver which is the same color as my head. I am trying to determine if 2+2 4.2 Liter engine head color was silver not gold as in the coupes and convertibles. Please examine and advise. Thank you.

Dear John, my color off my head is silver. Is your car listed in this data? Then i can take a look at it.

I am another S1 2+2 restorer in Belgium (see www.rustoration.be). If you want to share a beer sometime and swap experiences then give me a mail.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
