1967 1/2 Jaguar XKE 2+2 Coupe 4.2L
This Jaguar is phenomenal, to say the least, in every way. For starters, the car has the most desirable color combination ever made. It is outfitted in jet black with black leather, including completely new hides throughout.
The restoration quality is simply off the charts. I can promise you that there is no way you can appreciate, or even comprehend the quality of the restoration until you see this car up close and/or take the car for a drive. Although I am selling it for a friend, I remember the first time I saw the car. I had my mouth open (literally) in amazement as I walked around it. It is so unbelievably clean. The may have heard this cliche before (and it is true): "You could eat off the engine, or quite frankly any part of this car.”
In fact, this car was the hands down, “Winner, Best of Show” (2007), at the British Car West Coast Rally. You can see the full rotisserie restoration in every detail.
It is complete with dual Sidedraft carbs, as well as classic covered headlights. Also, the car has just completed a bumper to bumper service.
Naturally, all numbers are matching (this is a prerequisite to be included in the competition (let alone win the competition). The car that doesn’t need any work (that we know of) and drives perfectly.
The car is currently professionally stored in Scottsdale, AZ. It can be shown, driven, photographed and tested in every way on a moment's notice. Books are with the car.
Please note, on a wholesale basis, similar cars, albeit NOWHERE near the quality of this Jaguar, currently sell in the range of $45,000 to $65,000. The reserve on this car is set MUCH lower than than the low end range that they are currently selling for due to a quick sale objective.
This car is one of the finest examples to be offered, and is sure to please in every detail.

Hi, it would be nice to know what the heck "dual Sidedraft carbs" mean, as this car left the factory with triple SU HD's, and also if this was was/is automatic or manual. Besides Black/Black was not considered "desirable" by the factory as they never offered such a combination. Of course a JDHT certificate could verify such a special order if that was the case.
