Sellers comment:
This 1967 Jag has a an engine and transmission that were rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago. I have owned it for about 10 years but just do not have the time to finish the restoration. This JCNA registered former California car has little apparent rust and was a daily driver for the people I bought it from. I paid $8000.00 for it. I have the paperwork for the rebuild which was done by a Jag specialist in Seattle. The engine are numbers correct except for the head. This car started and ran well until I drained the gas tank and put it on blocks in my heated garage about two years ago.I am having trouble keeping it running now and it seems that the carbs are out of sequence. If I feed it gas while my son turns it over we can make it run, but when I stop spraying it will die. This is a 1966 build car and has only two items that make it a series 1.5 instead of a series 1. Those are the uncovered headlights and the shouldered knockoffs. This has newer stainless exhaust and great tires. Chrome is average to good. It has a fist size dent in the bonnet. It needs tuning, a new dash pad and headliner and to make it perfect a repaint. It has a very unique feature that I have not seen on any other Jag of it's age, a sliding metal sunroof that was a dealer install. It works by gear and spring and was functional until my young son burnt the motor running it back and forth. The motor can be rewound or replaced.
