Ebay item 11/8/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Series-1-2-2-Series-1-2-2-4-speed_W0QQitem ...
Current bid $10,100, 2 bids, 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $23.5k.
Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 2+2, 4 speed in Old English White with Black leather interior. One owner California car from new, still retaining its California Black plates. Old, mostly original, paint with laquer checking and chips. Original and very decent interior. Drives really superbly. Very straight and rust free. Very rare to see a Series 1 covered headlamp 2+2 and a 4 speed makes it quite a find. All Series 2 2+2's were automatic and insipid to drive. This is the perfect E-Type for someone a little taller or with small kids. Most 2+2's are in very distressed condition because of years of relative worthlessness. Not so with this one - purchased from the son of the deceased owner who cared for this car for around 40 years! This is one for the collection and can also be enjoyed on a regular basis. Go find another one! Inspections encouraged.

Car returns to ebay 7/26/12

Current bid $8,100 reserve not met 14 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Denver, Colorado. Complete VIN on this car is J671E75740.
Sellers description:
What makes this car special? It has it's original paint and a restored interior. Mechanically the car has had over $10,000 put into making it run and drive as it should by the current owner. Mechanically, this car is spot on. It starts easily, runs fantastically and drives like it should. This is not a condition one or two car. This car has original paint, restored interior and extremely sorted and strong mechanicals. This is not a condition 3 car, it's somewhere in between a condition 2 and 3 car. Certainly a great opportunity to own a icon from the 60's and continue to drive this car is you restore it.
This car has it's original black plates from California, where the car resided previously until 2008 when it's current owner purchased the car and brought it to Denver, CO. Since 2008 the current owner has painstakingly gone through system by system and has a binder full of receipts that show dedicated repairs and service work. Additional receipts date back into the 90's. The odometer shows 19,200 miles and the current owner bought the car in 2008 with about 18,500 miles on the odometer. One would assume that this mileage indicates 119,200 actual mileage but I can not verify that. This Jag also includes the original manuals, spare parts catalog and several interesting tidbits of history that come with that car, also included are the original California black plates.
This is an outstanding opportunity to buy, own and continue to restore this Jaguar E-type while you drive it. Much of the expensive work is done and the car can be driven today, trouble free!
