Ebay item 11/13/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $2,500 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This car comes with a Jaguar inline 6 cylinder along with 4 speed manual transmission from XKE not installed. When I bought the car it had been changed over to a small block Ford with an automatic transmission. I bought the Jaguar engine and trans to bring the car back to original. I was told that the Jaguar engine had been recently rebuilt before being removed from the XKE but had a failure on one of the cylinders due to one of the rings and it would probably need a sleeve in one of the cylinders. Motor is complete with carbs, intake and exhaust.

Car has a buy it now price of $10,000 for 20 days, 1 offer.
Sellers description:
I bought this XKE several years ago and someone had installed a 289 ford motor with C4 automatic transmission. I found a 3.8 Jaguar (that needs to be rebuilt) with 4 speed transmission and had planned on going back all Jaguar. I removed the Ford and go sidetracked with other projects. Good body and all the makings to make this a really nice car.

Current bid US $10,100, no reserve, 7 bids 2 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Houston, Texas. 99k miles.
Sellers description:
1967 Series 1 Jaguar XKE 2+2 Coupe 4 speed with N.O.M 3.8l engine. Jaguar originally had a covered headlight bonnet as you could see in the first picture but it was removed to be used on a series 1 roadster. This jag now has an open headlight bonnet. Overall, this jaguar is in good shape from top to bottom, very solid. The floorboards, frame rails, and trunk pan are good, minimal rust on doors can be seen in pictures, all the interior is intact and in decent shape, all the Glass chrome and trim pieces is it in good shape, engine needs to be gone tru I do have some parts for the engine that will go with the car but no carbs, overall this jag is in good shape and is solid is in need of restoration but is a perfect starting point and a great investment.
