1966 Jaguar XKE S1.5 2 +2 Coupe MATCHING NUMBERS RARE CAR
Vin: 1e75101bw

Manufactured after Aug. 1966. This S1.5 car has rebuilt triple SU Carbs. Has a brand new carpet set and insulation installed, new battery, new body, glass and door seals ready to be installed. The gas tank, lines and fuel bowl have been cleaned. The car starts and will idle. There is no brake pressure in the pedal, master brake cyd. may need to been replaced. Alternator will also need replacement. The car currently has not been driven, so the auto transmission has not been tested although it shifts in and out of park to rev. and drive.

The car is completely orginal.....Paint is opalescent silver blue and the interior is dark blue. The car currently needs a head liner, the rear seats could use recovering but the buckets are good. Dash board is in good shape and dash pad is excellent. The center console/radio console will need recovering. Radio is missing but have a orginal phillips radio and speakers if you want them. The radio will turn on but have no idea if it works.

Starts and runs, and sounds good. Oil Pressure gauge is not functioning. Believe to be a missing the ground wire. All others work, clock wasn't tested. The engine bay is currently missing the air intake box and assembly, filter and snorkel box. All of which have been ordered for the car and ARE included in the price.

Body is 99% rust free. Car was a original Colorado Car. The only body rust is a couple of small bubbles in the paint down the drivers side, rear fender on the top. See pictures, the spots are pretty small. The body was painted serval year ago but looks great. There are a couple of paint chips: one on the edge of the bonnet and couple on the px door, rearend and around the top of the rear hatch. We are missing the rear hatch: Jaguar, 4.2, E-type letters. The underside of the car has not been inspected.

We have ordered over $1200.00 in parts for the car which ARE included in the price. Parts INCLUDED: (also listed are missing parts )

Air filter, air cleaner assembly kit, snorkel box, and grommet

lh front parking/turn light assby. and lens with new bulbs, pads and seals for front and rear lights ( missing RH front ) ( missing rear light lens )

Upper Servo Heat Shield

Front bumper motif/sping clip and backing ( missing all four bumper overridersbonnet and couple on the px door, rearend and around the top of the rear hatch.

The car is also missing: A washer jet and one wiper blade. Upper ext. door chromes. Interior rh upper short door panel chrome trim and the lh longer chrome door trim. Driver side mirror, driver ext. door handle/lock, px side missing lock. The door panels are removed from the car and are reusable. Spare tire is flat. All other tires are aged, three wire wheels are in great shape, one has a small dent the other has alittle surface rust.

Currently we are finishing a 69 roadster and dont have time for this project. THIS IS A NO REVERSE AUCTION........The car is ready for someone to complete. Should be a easy restoration.
