Current bid $1,125 reserve not met, 13 bids, 1 day left in auction.
Sellers description:
Here is the deal on this jag... it was an unmolested car until the owner that I bought it from swapped his two series 2 carbs for the original three carbs,, so It only has the later series 2 carbs.. I got it to use a few parts for my roadster... I am planning on selling this car after I remove some parts or will consider putting back original the way I got it wihout the carbs. Those parts that I want to use include the bonnet.. front frame, radiator, fan and support.. this is from the picture window forward.. I am going to swap out my damaged parts for new owner to decides what to do with it. So the car will be complete but with some damaged front end parts and damaged bonnet.... The last two pics that I show are of my roadster's damaged front end that I plan to swap and include in this sale.. I have second thoughts about splitting the car up as it is a nice original car and wish I just bought a bonnet and front pieces,, I will consider selling car with all original parts including original bonnet if someone is intererested in a buy it now price.. So the only thing not on the car would be the original three carb set up..(this sale does not reflect this). So if you are interesested in buying car for a higher price and original, email me for buy it now price... other wise this auction reflects car with damaged parts from my roadster... Now that I have you totally confused. Let me tell you the condition of the car... As I said it looks to be unmolested.. the right door has some rust at bottom but looks very repairable. the bottom panel beneath fuel tank has a long narrow rusted out spot where I assume there is a seam.. There is a dent in the driver side rear fender that is repairable. Other than this I cannot see any damage that would need much attention... The car says 60,000 some odd miiles but not sure if it is correct. The interior is the orginal but very shoddy... from what jags I have seen this one has less rust damage than most.. The bonnet that comes in this sale is damaged pretty badly... I would take a very good metal man to completely work it over.. and I mean good. the front end pieces are bent, I doubt they can be usuable.... The radiator looks okay though, so does the fan motor and blade. The motor is a numbers matching, but the head is not... The head number is 7E 9976-8. I was told the four speed is the original matching numbers one.
