Car to be at auction 4/11
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Lot 150 - 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1
Estimate: £18,000 - £22,000
Registration Number: CHJ 362G
Chassis Number: 1E51349BW

Manufactured on the 25th June 1968 and dispatched on the 29th August, this 4.2 litre E-Type is offered in good condition and finished in the original colour of Carmen red with a black interior. The car was originally delivered to New Zealand and sold through Shorters of Auckland and originally purchased by Velva Drycleaners Ltd., also of Auckland.

Within the history file a copy of the Certificate of Registration of Motor Vehicle is supplied along with a Heritage Trust Certificate; both confirming Velva were the first owners and that the car is a genuine right hand drive example. Purchased by the current owner in 2001; it was subsequently imported to the UK in December 2004 where it was registered with a correct period registration number and supplied with a UK V5 document. A current MoT certificate valid until January 2012 is also supplied in the history file.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
