1967 E type that requires some work. It is a right hand drive (original U.K. model) with 4 speed manual transmission, leather interior and wire wheels.

The M.O.T. run out in July and for a new one the handbrake needs some work and the new fibre glass bonnet needs to have the lights and indicators fitted. That should give you a usable, running 'E'. To turn it into a show car you would need to do a lot more work. As you can see from the photographs it needs attention to the body and would benefit from new sills at least to one side as it has been plated over at one time but has always passed M.O.Ts like this. The engine runs well but does leak a drop of oil. It has not been converted to unleaded but runs fine on it.The interior is in very good condition for its age. I would encourage any bidders to see the car before bidding and to ask any questions you can think of. The new Bonnet is of a very high standard with alluminium Louvre inserts and strengthening webs and that alone cost £1300. The original bonnet can go with the car but again would need some work.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
