Prior to our ownership this car was restored and competed in many cocours events had 17 first place wins all over the country, culminating in the benson and hedges winner in 1986 at cardiff.
My wife and I owned this car for a few years and had some concours success at local events, in norfolk / siffolk and essex. got a special award for best reg used car at JDC e-type register day prescott in 2005.
entered the vanasca 9k hillclimb in italy, was only jag there, lots of track days and the hill at prescott, great car fantastic cond.
We fitted some mods to help with the track days and modern continental traffic, alloy rad, big front calipers, XJS rear calipers, poly front bushes, luminetion ignition.
Sold car to finance our 3.8 roadster.
