Owned since 01/12/2005, Used almost daily for all but the worst winter months apart from when the rolling rebuild items keep her off road. Over a period of time the intention is to restore and improve to a reliable, regularly driveable condition (rather than me turn up to work with oil in various places after coaxing her there).
Currently has a rebuilt Rob Beere engine, WatJag front vented disc and geometry conv. and stainless hoses, Classic fabs Long manifold exhaust, Pacet elec fan and kevlar hoses, ally header tank, ITG air filter and large jets, various poly bush upgrades, inertia reel belts, rebuilt and uprated heater, various small electric mods and bolts replaced with stainless.
Recently 01/06/2010, failed MOT for rear brake pistons seizing, and as they wont come out, the whole rear cage has come out and the rear sus/brake overhaul has been brought forward hopefully to see a vented disc upgrade, diff o'haul and full restore with liberal powder coating of any metal work that stays still long enough.
Further major mods will be a full rewire, hopefully a heated front screen if I can get one made, a radio that works, 5-speed gearbox, new front frames, electronic ignition and maybe one day fuel injection, all before eventually a complete strip down and body resto and re-trim.
Then inevitably start all over again! and during all that finish restoring a 60's VW split screen camper and take a few hols in it!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
