Current bid $2,800, no reserve 2 bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Unrestored 1968 Jaguar e-type series 1.5 coupe. Just out of long term storage and in need of a complete restoration. This car has lots of rust in all the usual places. Both floors and sills obviously need replacing amongst other things. A prime candidate for a complete restoration or a good source for parts for another project. Condition of the engine is unknown. Sold with a clean transferable Ohio title.

Jaguar Heritage certificate present

It is very rare that we see a car that is literally better than it was when new. Our E-Type has been painstakingly restored on a cost no object basis. Upon inspection on our ramp, we were staggered to view the level of detail and effort that has been lavished on this car, where literally nothing has been left unrestored. It is pin sharp to look at, underneath, under the bonnet, inside and outside. On the road it is a delight to drive and must be as close to a new car as you can get. Offered at a price that is a fraction of the restoration cost, ready to go and enjoy.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
