Current bid $4,605.55 reserve not met, 10 bids 4 days left in auction. Car appears to be using the VIN from a S1.5 FHC.

Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-series, 4.2, automatic, gas tank needs replaced!! Car has not been run for 20yrs, (we have owned it that long) engine turns over and has spark, I believe the vehicle will run, has 68329 original miles, clean Pa title with the mileage, does have a special serial plate due to theft of plate. This car is in overall good shape, does have minor rust, and a few minor dings. There is a dent in the hood as pictured.

I'm just curious, but the chassis no. is from a Series 1.5 short-wheelbase FHC, but the photos and description are of a Series 2 2+2. Just one of those mysteries, I guess...

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
