Seller's description:
1967 Jaguar XKE Coupe
Series 1.25 yes, a series 1 1/4 very late 1967 series 1 cars series 4.2 Tri-carb cars with open headlight bonnets. 1 of only 470 examples built fewer than 150 known to exist according to XKEDATA. This car is a local Central Texas Dallas area car that has been stored since 1983. Color Changed from Primrose Yellow to Black, interior appears to be tobacco brown. All the best attributes and updates for a series 1. If you are not a fan of all the open headlights, closed headlight kits are readily available. Great example to start your custom build or restoration, 4 speed coupe, the cylinder head is matching numbers but the block is not. The block number is 7E4678-9 1983 TEXAS inspection, 1983 Texas license plate, spare, tool kit, jack a very complete car with the exception of upper rear chrome window trim, both chrome windshield A-pillar trim pieces, shift knob and minor misc... 2 seat coupe’s are one of the most beautiful designs ever. The market for them many say has surpassed the desirability of a roadster. #1 condition series 1 coupes are now in the $250k-$300k range. We have aggressively priced this coupe for quick sale and it will have a new owner soon. A good basis for a restoration or a custom build.
