    Ebay item 7/12/19
    www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Jaguar-E-Type/293147936864
Current bid:$1,725 no reserve 9 bids 5 days left in auction, seller asouthern1, 99k miles.

    Seller's description:
You are bidding on a 1967 Series 1 Jaguar E-Type Coupe (2 seater). This is a very solid Southern car. The car comes exactly as you see it in the pictures. I have no motor, no transmission, no interior, and no bonnet. The car does roll and will steer by hand (no steering wheel or steering rack). The car is documented with a clear title in my name, the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, and the original manufacturer’s Warranty book showing the original owner and the original selling dealer.

The Jaguar Heritage Certificate States the Following:
Date of Manufacture 27 January 1967
    Chassis number 1E 34204
    Engine Number 7E 12088-9
    Body Number 4E 25710
    Gearbox Number EJ 12972
    Transmission Manual
Exterior Paint Colour Opalescent Dark Green
    Interior Trim Colour Suede Green
Original Distributor Jaguar Cars, New York
Date of Dispatch 23 February 1967

The car was sold new at:
    John Tune Import Motors INC
    Nashville, Tennessee

The original owner was: Bernard B. Bourgeois, Sewart AFB, Tennessee

The car has been sitting since the early 1980s inside. The car was disassembled many years ago and is currently mostly bare metal with some minor surface rust, there is a very small amount of rust in the passenger front foot well, small spot in the bottom of the spare tire well and small spot by the windshield, The body number and chassis number matches the body tag and title.

This will make a great car to restore! It is so hard to find these cars this solid!

Lot 49886-39 at BVA on line classic car auction in Uithoorn on 26 August 2020. Sold for 28,250 euros. Amended catalogue description below.
    www.bva-auctions.com/en/auction/lot/49886/15346582

Chassis number 1E34204, left hand drive with manual transmission. This Series 1 4.2 litre FHC is an unfinished project. The car was distributed by Jaguar Cars New York to John Tune Import Motors, Broadway, Nashville, Tennessee. The dealer delivered the car to the first owner, Bernard V Bourgeois in Tennessee. When new the car was finished in Opalescent Dark Green over a Suede Green interior.

The car needs a total restoration as can be seen in the pictures. There are almost no parts missing and many original parts still bear the original colour. The body is fairly solid with some rust and holes in typical E Type places. The chrome parts are in reasonably good condition and suitable for a rechrome. It is fitted with a non original but period correct E Type engine and full synchro gearbox.

Whilst the engine cannot be started it does turn. It is fitted with GRP bonnet, has a refurbished wiper motor, sports exhaust and new sub frames. The car has its original data plate and body tag. It comes with its Jaguar Daimles Heritage Certificate, original factory warranty card with the first owner's details, Tennessee registration certificate and EU import document. All EU taxes and import duties have been paid.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
