Ebay item 11/21/17

www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Jaguar-E-Type/322894635359

Current bid US $19,976.54 Reserve not met 19 bids 6 days left in auction, seller ufdashamrock, 59k miles.

Sellers description:

This 1967 Jaguar E-Type is a Series 1 coupe that is finished in Cream over Black. The matching-numbers 4.2-liter DOHC six remains fitted, and records show that the car left the factory on January 27, 1967.

After sitting for approximately 20 years, the previous owner commissioned a glass-out repaint in the original Cream in 2012. The interior remains largely unrestored and shows a nice patina overall. The original 4.2-liter DOHC six was rated by the factory at 265 hp and 283 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed during the 2012 refurbishment included cleaning and tuning the trio of 2" SU carburetors, overhauling the fuel system, rebuilding the clutch and associated hydraulics, and changing all fluids. A replacement stainless exhaust has also been fitted.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
