Current bid $18,100 reserve not met, 10 bids 5 days left in auction. Car still in Randolph, New Jersey.

Sellers description:
This is an original 1967 Jaguar E-type coupe -- with only 38,000 miles!

It runs, drives and handles very well. Fully rebuilt engine and manual transmission (I have all receipts). Minor modifications: FM radio installed (period correct Blaupunkt). Chrome wires and newer radials. Original trunk components including jack. Beautiful original paint, chrome, and glass. Very nice leather interior. All electrics work.

I am the second owner (purchased in 2003 from original owner). This car has always been pampered (never driven in bad weather, serviced by The Stable, Ltd and Hibernia Auto Restorations). I have the shop manual, owner's manual, extensive folio of receipts and photos from Hibernia Auto.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
