The car currently shows 66,942 miles. It appears to be very original and complete. It has had a repaint and has been off the road since 1983.

    Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar E-type (XKE) Series 1, 4.2. The car is complete but has been parked since 1983. It only has 66,000 miles showing on the odometer. It is all matching numbers, and I have the Jaguar Heritage Certificate for the car as well. The car has does have rust, does not run (I have not tried to start it or turn it over) and will need a total restoration. According to the Jaguar Heritage it was manufactured in November 23 1966, as a Black Car with Tan Interior . This will be a beautiful car when restored.

    Chassis Number: 1E33861
    Engine Number: 7E10959-9
    Body Number: 4E25355

I have a clear Tennessee title in my name.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
