Ebay item 4/15/15
www.ebay.com/itm/161671304366
Current bid US $60,100 reserve not met 14 bids 4 days left in auction. 33k miles.

Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar XK E-Type 4.2 Coupe. Documented 4 owner, California sports car. Recent service on brakes, fuel system, cooling system and exhaust. The last year for the covered headlight, Series 1 Jaguar with the refinements of a fully synchronized transmission and an alternator. The 25 year old paint looks great, but a closer look will reveal minor imperfections, such as scratches and a few small dings. An important thing to know is, when the Jaguar was repainted, only the outside panels were sprayed. All of the door jambs, engine compartment and rear compartment door jamb still has the original paint, which is in excellent, original condition. All of the chrome is original inside and out. The interior is completely original, however, there are a few cracks in the arm rest and driver seat cushion. Features include: Opalescent Silver Blue paint, with Navy Blue Connolly leather, chrome wire wheels, 33,130 miles, original spare tire, owner's manual, original tool kit, California black plates. Outstanding original un-restored condition.

Jaguar Type E 4.2 litres série 1 coupé 1967
Châssis n° 1E 33751

•Livrée neuve en Californie, États-Unis
•33 140 miles (53 300 km) d'origine
•Largement d'origine
•Historique complet

Chassis no. 1E 33751

•Delivered new to California, USA
•33,140 miles from new
•Outstandingly original
•Full history
•Recently serviced

Its first owner purchased this E-Type Coupé new in Napa, California and drove it for some 24,000 miles before selling the car in November 1977. The second owner, a neighbour of the first, had the car re-sprayed in its original Opalescent Silver Blue colour at 32,702 miles and then sold it in April 1989. It should be noted that when the Jaguar was re-sprayed, only the outside body panels were repainted; all of the door jambs, engine compartment and rear compartment still have their original paint. All the chrome is original too, both inside and out, and is in excellent condition. The third owner, from Palm Springs, bought the Jaguar as an investment then sold it in September 1989 at 32,800 miles. The current (fourth) owner purchased the E-Type in Palm Springs from the third owner. He has driven the car sparingly, transporting it by trailer to various Southern California classic car shows, and then in January 1993 placed it in storage where it would remain for the next 20 or so years.

In January 2014 the Jaguar was taken out of storage and had the following work completed: fuel tank cleaned and coated; new fuel pump and sender unit; carburettors overhauled and tuned; cooling system purged; radiator overhauled; new coolant hoses, thermostat and surge tank; all brake work completed; clutch hydraulics rebuilt or replaced; new exhaust system; complete engine tune and oil change; new tires fitted. A compression test carried out a couple of months ago produced consistently good readings from all six cylinders. Other noteworthy features include Navy Blue Connolly leather interior; chrome wire wheels (original plating); original spare wheel, owner's manual and tool kit; and California black plates. The car comes with its original books, tools, US title, EU import paperwork and its entire service history. Un-restored and outstandingly original, this exceptional E-Type Coupé is every collector's dream.
