History of this Jaguar Type E:
Delivered new in Belgium in October 1966 for exhibition, this Jaguar Type E 4.2L was then sold to its first owner by Delecroix in January 1968. In May 1984 it changed hands, it will remain in the Val-d'Oise then will be sold in January 1993 to a Parisian. In 2010 after 17 years she left Paris for Loire Atlantique where we bought her. This magnificent Jaguar Type E will therefore have spent all of its life in France.

Bodywork:
It has an excellent body, very healthy with excellent fit. Its color is one of the rarest of origin.

Saddlery:
Its tan leather upholstery is in excellent original condition with superb patina. The original roof and carpets are clean as are the door panels. It still has its original wooden steering wheel.

Motor:
Very healthy mechanics, fully revised, engine regularly maintained with excellent oil pressure.

Gearbox :
Original gearbox fully synchronized, excellent working condition. No games, the speeds pass perfectly.

Running trains:
The front axle, the suspension as well as the rear axle are stable, very good handling. No play or noise is noted.

Braking behavior:
The 4.2L E-Type already has brake assist which is significantly improved compared to the previous model. Braking is perfect and in a straight line.
