Fgst. No. 1E32035, first registration on 01.07.1966, darkblue, leather red. At the end of 2011, the uncompromising restoration at the highest level was completed with enormous costs but fantastic results. Vehicle was completely disassembled except for the body shell. This has been completely revised and restored by renewing numerous sheet metal parts (wheel arches, door skins u.v.m.) and fully painted in very good quality. Then the vehicle was rebuilt using many new parts: new interior leather, new flooring, new skies, new gaskets, new stainless steel exhaust system, new spoke wheels. Engine, brakes and axles are completely overhauled. All engine attachments were either renewed or put into new condition. Since then, no 1,000 km have been driven. Invoices and extensive photo documentation are available. An E-Type of the extra class with excellent driving characteristics and a very authentic charisma! Vehicle is in Munich.

For sale by Pyritz Classic for €149,000 in Frankfurt/Germany
www.pyritz-classics.de/fahrzeuge/jaguar-e-type-serie-1-coupe/
Seller's description :
This Series 1 vehicle is already equipped with the slightly larger 4.2 liter engine and has slightly more comfortable seats, like the vehicles of the 1st year of construction, which suits the active driver very well.
The first delivery took place in the USA. The vehicle came to Germany in 1988, was driven until 2002 and completely restored in the color combination "Westminster-blue / Mulberry" in the years 2008 / 2009. Of course this is photo-documented and a report from 2013 confirms the condition "1". A Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirms the equality of numbers.
A new report, a fresh HU and a new service are included.

Delivered new to the United States
Fully restored to its current configuration roughly nine years ago
This example left the Browns Lane factory destined for the United States, where it was registered in July 1966. It was then imported into Germany in 1988 and enjoyed by its owner until 2011, when it was given a no-expense-spared restoration. This included an extensive engine overhaul that renewed all vital parts and replacement of some body panels. Upgrades included a stainless-steel exhaust system, a full brake overhaul, rear axle rebuild, and the fitting of wider Dayton wire wheels to improve the handling. Even the engine block was finished in the correct gold as part of the mechanical overhaul. The stunning body was finished in 2009 in Westminster Blue with Mulberry leather interior. It is fully registered for road use in Germany, but has barely been used since work was completed and would surely revel in being returned to the open road.
