Ebay item 8/12/18
www.ebay.com/itm/263869718437
Car has a buy it now price of $99,500 for 18 days, seller mcjewelry, 19k miles.
This is a iconic 1966 XKE Jaguar coupe. This is a frame off restoration of every nut and bolt on the car. In the classic color of beige and black interior . This car is priced very low for what it is. It would take over 125k to get a car to this level plus the cost of the car! It is a no accident car on a 7 year old restoration. engine block and head match each other. I have a Jaguar Heritage Cert that goes with the car. With cars needing restoration going for 40 to 70k this is a no brainer. Show and enjoy this fantastic car. This is the best driving Etype I have ever driven. It is like a better than new car, with no disappointments. Just had car serviced so just get in and drive. The vin number is 1e31660 and is also stamped in the picture frame on the car.

This 1966 Jaguar XKE is a Series I fixed-head coupe finished in Beige over black leather built in August 1965 and originally delivered to New York. Acquired by the seller one year ago, the car reportedly underwent a body-off restoration in 2011. Modifications are said to include an aftermarket radiator and alternator, with maintenance carried out in 2018 including a new master cylinder and an oil change. This E-Type is now offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, tool kit, service manual, and a clean Arizona title in the sellers’s name.
The car reportedly was repainted in Beige from its original color of Opalescent Golden Sand in 2011 during a refurbishment carried out by Heritage Classics Motorcar Company in West Hollywood, California. Polished 15″ Dayton wire wheels are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The seller states that the master cylinder was replaced in 2018.
The black leather interior features matching seatbelts and carpets as well as Series I–specific toggle switches and a black textured dash. An aftermarket Blaupunkt radio replaces factory equipment. A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles, about 1,200 of which were added by the seller in the past year. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 4.2L twin-cam inline-six is equipped with triple SU carburetors and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The engine was reportedly overhauled during the refurbishment, and the radiator and the alternator were replaced with components from a Series II car. The seller states the oil and filter were changed in 2018.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate indicates that the car was built on August 30, 1965 and was dispatched to New York on September 8 finished in Opalescent Golden Sand over black. The stamping on the engine block does not match that on the above certificate. A maintenance voucher booklet is included along with a tool kit and a spare wire wheel.
