Sellers description:
1966 Series 1 Jaguar Fixed Head Coupe
Owned and driven this car for 32 years. An older restoration painted in 1985, Squadron Blue with lacquer paint. I am sure the mileage of 75098 is, as with a lot of these cars, the second time around on the clock.
Car shows well and chrome is excellent, as are the wire wheels which were new in 1994 (as well as the spare wheel). There are small chips and touch-ups around the car. Interior is in very good condition for its age.
The photographs of engine build and installation by me are 11,000 miles ago. The engine runs and pulls well.
A matching numbers car, upgrades are stainless headers and exhaust, new alternator, Pertronix distributor, electric fan, flame thrower coil and stainless rear brake calipers.
Body is in good condition with no major rust. There is a small pimple lifting of paint on driver's side behind rear tire on sweep up to rear bumper, as is a slight lifting of paint on passenger's side in the same place.
This car has always been kept inside and driven only on fine days. It is a beautiful car and a joy to drive. Reason for sale is downsizing and moving out of province.

Current owner has made some positive upgrades to make the car a great driver including; Wilwood front disc brakes, adjustable coil-over rear shocks, adjustable front shocks, polyurethane bushings in front suspension and larger anti-swaybars. Original parts included. Blue paint is an original Jaguar color and was done in the 1980's. Shows well with some chips from use. I do not see any rust, top or bottom. This car runs and drives great.
