Ebay item 9/6/11

Current bid $34,100 reserve not met, 9 bids 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1966 Jaguar E Type 4.2 Series I Coupe in Opalescent Maroon with Black interior. This E Type is a very high quality matching numbers (engine and trans) example. Very solid rust and accident free body with very good paint throughout. Really top notch mechanically having just had a huge amount of work performed by its engineer owner. New interior (with all correct materials from the trim center in the UK). We sold this car a few years ago to an engineer in San Diego. it was a great solid car at the time but he wanted to bring it to a higher level and below is a list of the work performed by him (with almost no miles since). His parts cost was $12,600 and hundreds of hours labor (which will have to be his therapy). Hard to duplicate and a joy to drive. This wouldn't be out of place in a serious collection. Engine # 7E4262-9 Gearbox # EJ3750. New interior, lots of mechanical work.
