Current bid, $25,000, reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction. This car has a German style data plate in addition to the standard plate. Car was likely delivered to Germany originally.
Sellers description:
1965 Jaguar 4.2 E-Type Series I Coupe in Opalescent Silver Blue with Blue leather seats. Matching #'s engine. Very straight and original car with nice patina. Seats are original and old but ok. Paint is average to decent with some weak areas (see photos). Drives very well. Nice under bonnet and in the spare wheel well. Inspections encouraged. Sales tax and lic fees due if delivered in California.

"scruffy driver"is a bit cruel to this car,(1E30629) it is a totally rust free California body with very good brightwork.

The car now resides in St. Louis, Missouri where the bonnet has been stripped and resprayed by an E-type specialist. Since acquiring it in 1/2009, I've put over 3,000 trouble-free miles on it. It is totally rust-free and a fantastic driver. It can be seen in this video www.youtube.com/watch
The dents under the air intake were repaired when the bonnet was resprayed.
