The Jaguar 'E' Type is a motoring icon and possibly one of the sexiest cars ever designed. Practically every model made by Jaguar has become a collector's item but the 4.2 coupe 'E' types have turned into possibly the most desirable of all the options of that model.
When we managed to inspect this delightfully original 4.2 coupe, it started first time, sounded well and showed good oil pressure. The interior seems to be original as is the seating but it would now benefit reconnollising and possibly new carpets. To the under side of the bonnet one can see the triple SU carburettors, and though generally in good condition throughout it could do with some detailing to the engine bay.
Finished as it is in one of the best colours for an 'E' Type and with the chrome wire wheels, this example will, as they all do, turn heads where ever it goes and is ready to go being tested and taxed until April next year.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
