Yo, does anyone out there know any history about this car prior to 1985?

One pretty cool thing about the car when I bought it back in 1985, was that the whole instrument panel with its complete set of gauges, as well as the dash top were in great condition. Even the clock worked :-) So apart from a good cleanup, those parts have not been touched at all during the restoration of the car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
