Ebay item 8/10/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $8,860.00 (Reserve not met), 10 bids, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This is a true series one XKE coupe. It has the covered headlights, triple carb set-up, and togle switchs. It is a very rare car as it is Right Hand Drive, stick shift, and made for the "Home Market". I have the original UK Tag but no paper work from when it was brought over to the US.

Vehicle Condition
It has not been run since the early 1990's. It was bought by a service man in England in the mid 1980's and brought back with him when he returned. The car will need to be restored but it is complete. The brakes are frozen and the header tank is bad. The engine is not stuck. The car does have some rust in the right rear wheel arch and the bottom of the trunk but the rest including rockers look to be good. This car is available for inspection.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
