Unveiled at the Geneva Motor show the E-Type caused a sensation and orders piled into the Browns Lane factory. Unfortunately supply was slow, which only heightened the desire to own one and therefore you really had to be someone special to take delivery of this sexiest of icons in the early days.
The 1966 original right hand drive 4200cc fixed head coupe version has been entered by a local gentleman and we are informed by him that it has been fully renovated to the highest standards and in the car's history file there are a number of photographs detailing the various stages of the work undertaken which have culminated in the superb finished result you see before you today. It has the four-speed manual gearbox and since the work was finished it has covered a mere 5200 miles in dry weather conditions and has always been garaged when not in use.
This particular model is very rarely offered for sale these days so we are sure it will generate lots of interest at today's sale.
