Bare metal restoration carried out in 1987-89.

Now had the small number of bodywork jobs done and a new set of s/s wires. Back to excellent condition!
Discovered that during some small work to the rear of the sills that she still has the original sills after some 44 years. Not bad for a UK car!

Update. Car is still owned by me. Car is still in nice restored condition and over the last 6 years of ownership, I have maintained this condition and not carried out any modifications as I intend to keep her largely original. She is kept in a dehumidified garage and only ever comes out on dry days. She has never seen rain since I've owned her!

Just an update, car still owned by me but been in long term storage for four years now whilst I’ve been doing a major self build house project.

hopefully she will be back on the road next year once I have built my new workshop to house her!

I changed her reg number back in 2009 to 41E which suits her well.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
