Sold by E Type UK of Hadlow in July 2021. Abbreviated seller's description below.

This highly original right hand drive coupe is a brilliantly cared for true driver's car, finished in heritage correct Carmen Red over Black trim, completed with a handful of desirable upgrades that bring this 1960s classic to life. Rolling off the production line in July 1965, it was shipped to Port Elizabeth, South Africa and was supplied by Embassy Motors to its first owner K Jeste, an architect.
The coupe arrived back in the UK in 1989 and it changed hands twice over the next 5 years when it passed to John Eastbury of Abingdon. At the time it was registered ABW52F. Remaining in his ownership for a decade he spent time and effort to ensure the E Type remained in perfect order. It then passed to a Kent based Jaguar specialist who taken by the high level of originality decided to recommission the E Type.
The body was overhauled, the engine treated to a full rebuild to fast road specification, complete with the cylinder head re-machined and re-valved and re-ported. The 4 speed gearbox was stripped and inspected, reporting all parts in good working order. The suspension, brakes, and SU carburettors rebuilt and the following upgrades installed: electronic ignition, high torque starter motor, full stainless steel sports exhaust and stainless steel wire wheels.
On completion the car was re-registered CVG553F and sold in 2017. The current owner reinstated a correct C suffix number to the car. The last few years it has been meticulously cared for with little use. The E Type offers a combination of originality and reliability with uprated performance. This 1965 car is a fantastic classic.
