Offered for sale at Shannons' Auction, Price guide set at AUD$110,000-$125,000.
The vendor advises this South African ' Series 1.5' E-type was imported into Australia in 2001 and has recently undergone a comprehensive programe of refurbishment, including a bare metal respray (with new floors and the body sand blasted prior to painting), new interior and a new soft top. Other than a modern stereo unit, the interior is very much as the car left the factory. Under the bonnet the E-type appears to be all original and the car sits on a set of chrome wire wheels with whitewall tyres. Finished in the most attractive colour combination of black with contrasting tan leather upholstery, this original right-hand drive E-type presents very well throughout and is presently registered in New South Wales to August 2014.
