Seen on eBay, April 2007. Seller's description:
"Have you always wanted to own that great looking sports car? Look no further. This is one of the most spectacular hard to find cars. It is a 1968 Jaguar Series 1 1/2 E-type. It comes to you in white color exterior and has never been wrecked. This car has been garage kept. Everything is original including those fantastic recessed lights. The front of this car almost reminds you of a space ship, it is very long and slender (see pictures). This car has had two owners and the one presently has owned this car for approximately 20 years. He stated he had it painted about 19 years ago. This car sounds and runs fantastic. Everything works, but the Techometer reads about twice as fast as it should. This car has a stainless steel exhaust. As you can see from the pictures the top could use a good cleaning/be replaced. The seats are original and I really only saw one place that had a crack which was about 1 to 2 inches long (see pictures as seats do show wear). The chrome on this car is starting to show some very light pitting in a few areas. I did see some rust up underneath on the passengers side which was in an area about 2 or 3 inches long and about 1 inch wide. Sorry could not get a picture of this area, otherwise, it had very little rust at all in one other place (see pictures). Take time to look at this one, it is a beauty with the top up or down. Can you imagine yourself driving down the road in this, I can!!!
