At Auction on line selling 8/30 2017
bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-jaguar-xke-roadster-2/
This 1968 Jaguar XKE Roadster is powered by its numbers-matching 4.2L twin-cam straight-six and was mechanically refurbished three years ago by the previous owner's son. Built in May 1968, this example reportedly spent much of its life in New Mexico and Texas before it was acquired by the selling dealer from the longterm second owner's family. The car was reportedly stored from 1985 until 2014, when it was refreshed with new brakes and suspension components, a carburetor and water pump rebuild, a new fuel tank, new tires, and more. The seller has installed new carpeting and a vinyl top, used seats, refreshed the hardtop, and performed a service and wiring inspection. This XKE Roadster is now being offered for sale in North Carolina with nearly $40k of receipts, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Tennessee title.
