absolutely stunning 1968 Jaguar e-type roadster has been completely restored. It has been finished in beautiful carmen red with black leather interior. As we understand, the mileage showing on the odometer of 24,228 is original. Mechanically this car is excellent with great compression and a recent engine rebuild. It drives like a dream and is very responsive. Has a 4 speed manual transmission, 6-cylinder engine. All systems have been checked and this car is ready to drive. The body is exceptionally straight and the fit is perfect. Chrome is in excellent condition. Overall this is truly a great car to enjoy on the open roads or to take to shows.

The matching number E-type Series 1.5 Roadster is thought to be an original 27,000 miles example. Early history is unknown, but the chassis, body and original interior acknowledge this belief. It is one of the nicest, tightest, straightest and most honest E-type's we have seen in some time. Purchased in 2006 in mechanically restored form by its previous owner-collector and well known client to Autosport Designs, Inc., it has been well-cared for and sympathetically restored since with care to not diminish much of its original condition, such as its original and superb interior and original chrome which cannot be replicated.
During the previous ownership it has been serviced annually and has received the following service, maintenance and upgrades to keep in superb, ready to use condition. New top, Complete cooling system refurbishment including new water pump, thermostat and upgraded aluminum radiator for better cooling, Complete suspension overhaul, All hubs have been replaced, Fuel tank has been removed, serviced, coated and reinstalled, New Clutch, New stainless steel exhaust system, Complete engine reseal, performance oil pump and recently full service with valve adjustment, Carburetors have been rebuilt and finally a complete repaint in its original color Carmen Red.
I have (Tom Papadopoulos) recently enjoyed driving this E-type from the dealership to home and back, I can attest to its performing flawlessly in every way. It is indeed ready for immediate use and enjoyment. This E-type is also complete with owner's history, records as well as factory tools and jack.

This Series 1 1⁄2 E-Type Roadsters' subsequent early history remains unknown, but the car is believed to have had few owners over the years that have taken very good care of the car.
