This car is modified only to the extent of "bolt on" mods which could have been done by a period owner who used the car for transportation, drove it to the track and was competitive in private level racing events. Includes triple Webers, mild intake cam, non-radical headers and bigger bore exhaust and lightened flywheel, plus upgrades to torsion bars, anti-sway bar and steering rack. All structure and sheet metal is as original with all new metal as needed in a "tub out" full restoration in 2000. Car has been to Franklin; Il Jag Club concours (2nd in Driven) in 2002 and JagIn F1 gathering in 2002.

It's exactly like mine, but mine isn't restored. Bloomington, IL also. Amazing corincidence.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
