Sellers description:
I started restoring this Cat 2 years ago. It has 2 new floorpans and was driven for 2 hours to get it home. The engine and transmission are out but complete and ran great with good oil pressure. Transmission shifted fine but clutch should be replaced. The bonnet is a glass over the headlight and only needs a bottom pan ( available for ~ $400) rest is straight. The interior has red seats but the rest is dark blue including the carpet pieces. Top is white canvass but may need replacement due to some staining. I also have a toggle swich dash available to the highest bidder if he wants to make a true look series 1. Trunk is solid and rockers have been replaced in the past with no rust. Car is great candidate for resturation and in a state where you can choose your colors and options. I will include any other parts that I have collected like chrome pieces etc. This is a restoration project so don't ask if you can drive it home!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
