    Ebay item 1/15/08
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Partially-restored-Jaguar-E-type_W0QQitemZ ...
Current bid $10,000 reserve not met, 1 bid, 9 days left in auction. Car now located in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.

    Sellers description:
This car is currently located at Bassett's Jaguar in south kingstown, RI. (Mr. Bassett has agreed to make his services available for the next owner to restore to any specification at buyers expense. 49k miles.

The car has had most of the body pannels replaced within the last couple of months including an entirely new underside, new trunk, floorpans, new left and right subframe, a custom fibreglass lightweight competition series 1 style hood (original hood is pictured and is available but requires work on the lower portion). the body is in excellent condition and as anyone who has worked on these cars would know, this is the most difficult part of the restoration.

This is a complete car with many parts not pictured (chrome is complete but needs refinishing and interior was removed for bodywork as well) and new tires with less than 100 miles on them. glass covered series 1 headlights also included.

The 4.2L engine is removed from the car following bodywork. has less than 50,000 original miles. the engine was in running condition prior to entering the shop. the engine is set up to run on Tripple S.U.'s with original dule Zenith Strombergs being sold with the car (need work if desired for use)

The car is also being sold with a complete interior kit including cloth convertable top by G.W. Bartlett (now known as OSJI) this kit sells for around $5,000. The interior pictures are only a sample of the complete kit.

This car is a prime candidate for restoration with nearly $30,000 worth of parts and labor already complete on the car within the past year. Very reluctant in selling this car as it has long been a dream of mine to own an E-type but must sell due to career change.

    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-Jaguar-XKE-Roadster-4-2-Series-1-1-2-/330618655987
Current bid $5,000 reserve not met, 4 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Denver, North Carolina.

    Sellers description:
We acquired this car from a person that started the restoration few years ago but cannot continue due to go back to the arm forces. The body has a new SNG Barrett of UK floors, sills, and trunk floors. All professional done very well. New interior kit is included from OSJI interiors, which is black leather, including dash pad, stay-fast canvas convertible top and top boot. It has a brand new fiberglass bonnet , which is on the style of the lightweight . Engine it seems to be in good shape and free, which is also matching number to the chassis including the cylinder head. In my opinion excellent car to finish with no rust issues. All trims and bumpers are there as you can see on the photos. Matching numbers with clear North Carolina title.
