Domani Motor Cars is thrilled to present this 1968 Jaguar E-Type 4.2! Finished in Red over Black Leather interior, the Jaguar has been frame-off restored and has only 46,392 original miles on the odometer. The E-Type is in great condition inside and out!

The Jaguar E-Type was one of the fanciest and most desirable luxury roadsters in the 1960s, combining classic British styling with a large and powerful inline-6 engine. The car has a manual soft-top and a Tonneau cover that keeps the interior safe from the elements even with the top down. The Jaguar is a breeze to drive and the inline-6 makes a classic British sound.

The previous owner of this Jaguar had the car in his possession for the last 12 years, and restored it over a period of 5 years (2004-2009). All mechanical work was done by David Gerrard at The ..English Car Garage.. and detailed photos are available. The car was stripped to the bare frame, new floor-pans welded in, and all less-than-perfect areas replaced with new metal. Afterwards, the undercarriage, frame, inner chambers and sills, and other hidden areas were all drilled and injected with flat black Ziebart rust-proofing. The car has NO rust on it anywhere! It is free from any dings as well. The exterior of the E-type was re-chromed where necessary. The soft-top is new, and the convertible top frame was sandblasted and repainted black. The restoration includes all new rubber, new carpet, re-built motor, re-built transmission, rear end, suspension, new wiring harness, upgraded Wilwood front disc brakes, new stainless steel wire wheels, stock tires, upgraded radio/CD player, black leather door panels with built-in speakers, new leather console, new seat slides, new leather and carpet in the trunk. An oversized aluminum racing radiator and a ..push fan.. to deliver more air were installed helping the car deal with the hotter climates in the US. This drops running temperature by 25% and the Jaguar holds a steady temperature even after an extended drive. Over $60,000 invested in this rare beauty!

1968 Jaguar E-Type 1.5 Series 4 speed Roadster with a low 47,822 miles. This car had a restoration a few years back and still shows in very fine condition inside & out. This series added many improvements in drivability including a 4.2-liter engine upgraded and improved with a synchromesh gearbox. The cockpit was enlarged and the convertible top was enhanced to be more leak-proof. The cooling system increased in capacity which eliminated overheating in warm climates. We have just completed a full service, inclusive of all fluids, filters, as well as fresh tire balance and alignment. Original factory OEM radio is included in the sale. All body work and paint are very nice. Glass and bright work are in superior condition. Both seats and interior door panels have been re-surfaced to as-if-new in period correct material and OEM color as it was born.
