Car was sold at auction in 1999. They are wrong in their assumption about the headlamps, This car is over a thousand numbers into open h/l production.

Auction description and result:
1967 JAGUAR XKE ROADSTER
LOT #911 - RESERVE
1999 BJCCA CCA
SOLD FOR $22,838
COLOR - MED. BLUE
TRANS - MANUAL
CYLINDERS - 6
VIN - 1E15848

1967 XKE roadster. This car has undergone a total restoration of both body and drive train. Engine is of the same cu.in. and camming as the original, however, of a later vintage. Recent investigation has revealed that in 1968 the headlights were changed to uncovered by the original owner. By s/n this car should display covered head lamps (which is an easy conversion.)
