Current bid $25,600 reserve not met, 13 bids 6 days left in auction. 44k miles.
Sellers description:
Series 1 E-Type 4.2 litre Roadster with a matching numbers drivetrain. The 265 HP engine with triple SU carbs starts easily and runs extremely well, has excellent and even compression in all cylinders and sounds wonderful! The 4 speed gearbox is smooth and shifts crisply and all synchros are strong. Engine oil pressure and temp is excellent as well. This beautiful Jag drives very well indeed and tracks straight and true at speed with its 4 wheel independent suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes for excellent stopping power.
The automobile was repainted last year and is finished in an Oyster White that is truly gorgeous. While not a show car you would be hard pressed to find the minor flaws in the bodywork and the retrimmed interior which is, of course in leather. The body is solid and has very good panel fit. Some light corrosion repair was done over the years and all structural, body and suspension components are sound. The brightwork is excellent and the factory wire wheels are in great shape as well. I am reluctant to refer to this beautiful automobile as a nice "driver" as I feel that it is so much more than that. Similar fully restored examples are bringing well into six figures which I feel makes this particular vehicle a bargain based on what we are asking for it. Remember, this is the most sought after year for the E-Type!
This Jaguar was purchased by the owner of our dealership who is a master Mercedes Benz mechanic with a love for vintage cars. He has owned several E-Types over the years and the 1967 Series 1 roadster is his favorite. Indeed, it is considered the year to own by many enthusiasts from around the world. I personally have driven this car over the last few weeks and while I am an avid Alfa Romeo enthusiast myself I now can honestly say that I am lusting after this car!
This automobile is located in Northern Virginia and is available for inspection by appointment only. Please call or email with any questions that you may have and please be advised that the vehicle is also for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early.

Here's the full eBay listing...
This is a very nice example of arguably the most sought after year for the XKE by many enthusiasts. While not a show car it is an excellent "driver" in all respects. Cosmetically it is very nice with very presentable paintwork that exhibits only minor flaws that you have to look for to really notice. The exterior brightwork is excellent with no pitting or damage and the wheels are very nice as well. The folding top is new and is the correct vinyl type. The interior is extremely nice with new leather trimmed seats and footwell inserts. The dash and console are in very nice condition and all trim pieces are intact.
Mechanically the automobile is excellent for its vintage. The engine has nice even compression at 150 lbs and runs beautifully. The clutch is strong and the gearbox shifts nicely. At speed the automobile tracks straight and true and does not pull or wander. Recent mechanical work includes rebuilt front suspension, stainless steel exhaust and new brakes including parking brake. All instrumentation functions properly except for the clock. Structurally the automobile is very solid. Some corrosion repair has been done over the years to the floor pans and rocker panels and there is no visible rust anywhere on the body panels. The fenders were modified many years ago to S3 specs in order to accomodate wider tires. This is a numbers matching XKE that can be driven and enjoyed without costly repairs or restoration. This is indeed one of the most presentable Jaguar XKE roadsters currently on the market at a reasonable price.
Busch Foreign Cars is a family owned business operating from the same location in Northern Virginia for over 30 years. Please call Lou at (571)338-2349 with any inquiries about this fine automobile.

1967 Jaguar XKE Roadster. Old English White with Black Interior. We all know that the 67 Roadster is the one to have. This low mileag, number matching example is accompanied by a heritage certificate. I would rate this XKE as an excellent driver quality.

The description says that it has no known body work ... so ... since when did a Series 1 come with Series 3 fender flares?

Emailed the owner...typical evasive dealer..."I know nothing about the car." New pictures show substantial poor rust repair.
