Ebay item 5/17/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-2-door-roadster-/272245255370
Listed as sold at $39,100 after 3 bids. Seller copterti, 70k miles.
Sellers description:
I've owned this car since June 1970 and I was the second owner. 28 years ago, I parked it into my mother's barn with the intentions of restoring it upon retirement. Unfortunately, my health will not allow me to complete such a task. Therefore, I am offer up the chance to own this "project" car. It will need a complete restoration. The lower left side will need several panels replaced, as well as both floor pans. The right side is in much better shape, but will require work. Last time the engine ran was when I drove it into the barn. I did remove the spark plugs and poured oil into the cylinders. Rear rotors are rusted to the brake pads and will not turn therefore, had to drag the car onto the trailer. (NOTE that for pickup) I have the top, but missing some of the mounting hardware. I also have miscellaneous small parts for exterior and interior. As you all know, the 1967 Roadster is one of the most sought after XKE's ever built. Pickup vehicle in Smithville, Tennessee.
