Is there a data base for the XKSS? I purchased my first Jaguar (XK120) in 1969 from a fellow by the name of Joe Engle in Kansas City. He was restoring an XKSS at the time.

Hi, yes there is, you can find it from the top left corner of all of these database sites, it's under "C-type, D-type XKSS..." every single XKSS started life as a D-type and many of them were at some point "restored" as D-types, fortunately many of them are again XKSS's now, you can also go directly to: www.coventryracers.com/ and of course there is one for XK120-150's so if you have photos and info about your old one, please add it there. Cheers!
