Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1967 Jaguar E type Series 1 Roadster in Red with Red interior. Original color was Opalescent Silver Grey and the engine fire wall and frame is still in original paint as is the trunk floor. Matching engine (block and head) numbers #7E11399-9. Appears to be rust and accident free and a very good car all round. $5k recently spent mechanically with a new radiator, etc. Runs and drives very well. Seats recently recovered in leather. Paint and chrome are on the edge of needing to be done but its still a great looking and very presentable. Probably the best color combination originally and crying out to be put back to Silver Grey. Its hard to come across an honest rust and accident free matching numbers series 1 these days and this has the added upside of its original color combination. Comes with its books, jack and spare and Heritage Certificate.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
